Your Privacy At Fort Caspar Campground, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process lodging fees for your stay and to provide a more personalized experience. Please read on for more details about our privacy policy. What Information Do We Collect? How Do We Use It? When you make a reservation with us, we need to know at least your name, e-mail address, phone, number of sites required, number of people in your party, number of pets, your arrival and departure dates. This allows us to process your reservation and to notify you of the cost based on the information given. We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important changes to the Web site, new Fort Caspar Campground services and special offers we think you'll find valuable. If you would rather not receive this information, please notify us. Make sure to notify us for each account or e-mail address you have left with us. How Does Fort Caspar Campground Protect Customer Information? First, a secure server, also referred to as SSL (Secure Socket Layer), uses a special protocol to encrypt all data sent back and forth between the client (your browser) and the server. The encryption routine for a secure server is unique to that server and can't be intercepted and decrypted, or translated back to readable data by other parties that might be monitoring other users activities. A server that accepts and recognizes a browser request that starts with https:// will use encryption, and is therefore, considered to be secure. This brings us to "server certification". A certified secure server is one that has a digital certificate, a complex, encrypted file attached. The certificate verifies that the server belongs to the entity that it's supposed to, in other words, you haven't been directed to just any transaction server. Administrators and owners of servers hire a certifying agency to verify ownership of the server's domain and the encrypted certificate is issued by that agency. The purpose for this certificate, then, is to provide the person submitting information via a website with the identity of the entity responsible for the server's domain. Will Fort Caspar Campground Disclose the Information it Collects to Outside Parties? Fort Caspar Campground does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. We may choose to do so in the future with trustworthy third parties, but you can tell us not to by sending a blank e-mail message to camp@ftcasparcampground.org.
